Get paid to help people in your community and become an important addition to someone’s life. Connecting Point is looking for caregivers to provide at-home assistance for seniors and people with disabilities throughout Nevada County, Plumas County and Sierra County. You get to choose your hours and schedule. We will help match you with those in need of care. Clients are mutually matched based on the client’s needs and your availability, skills and comfort level. Benefits include accrued sick leave and a health benefit plan for 80+ hours per month (though not health insurance, the health benefit meets CA health insurance requirements.) Our caregiving clients are consumers of IHSS (In-Home Support Services), California’s governmental support to help residents remain independent and in their homes. As an In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) provider, you will be paid to provide services to a person receiving in-home supportive services under the IHSS Program. Tasks may include things such as: 1. Trips to the grocery store 2. Assistance with cooking and cleaning 3. Transportation to medical services 4.
