Hiring for 3 Full time janitorial staff members. We are looking for 3 responsible and reliable custodians to maintain and protect our facilities at Rocky Mountain Labs. The appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep and maintaining sanitation standards. They will have some physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial operations at RML. Pay is $17.54 per hour. Hours are Monday-Friday, 2:30-10:30pm. Responsibilities • Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floor and dusting surfaces • Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets • Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap and paper products) • Wipe mirrors and windows • Report major damages • Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.) Skills • Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role • Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time + lift up to 25 lbs. • Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components • Pass a Federal background check and drug test • Attention to detail and conscientiousness • High school diploma
