JOB DESCRIPTION The forklift operator is to operate our stand-up forklifts / cherry pickers to transpose our products to and from the designated areas, whereas putting away incoming materials or picking out going orders and/or transfers between our various branches. The forklift operator is requiring to accurately pick, check and transport products to the designated areas in the warehouse in a safely manner and work as part of a team to put away incoming products. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work place and report safety hazards, quality and products issues to management. Meet quality of work and performance requirements and productivity standards and complete forms and handle documentation accurately. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operate our stand-up forklifts / cherry pickers to accurately pick, check and transport products to and from the designated areas in the warehouse. Work as part of a team to put away incoming products. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work place. Report safety hazards, quality and products issues to management. Meet quality of work and performance requirements and productivity standards Complete forms and handle documentation accurately. Keep accurate productivity records. Assist in warehouse maintenance and other duties as assigned by the manager. QUALIFICATIONS A mandatory background check will be required post-offer. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds without assistance. Forklift certified. Detailed oriented and able to complete documents correctly. Ability to communicate in English.
