Drummer Wanted WAKING BEAR is an indie rock/pop/soul band based in Olympia, WA looking for an experienced drummer to join our high vibe tribe. We’re grieving the departure of our dear friend and drummer, Scott Ercoliani, who recently left the planet unexpectedly. Sometimes it's difficult to trust that everything works out for the highest good, but we’re doing our best and ultimately we want to keep this train moving. WAKING BEAR has received millions of streams with nearly 20 releases and an album since our first song published in Dec, 019. Now that covid is hopefully trending down, we’re gearing up to begin playing out and touring, both for our regular shows and for the keynote concerts we offer through Hearts Open Wide We are a self-produced band with monthly $ stipends for players and royalty/revenue opportunities for the right drummer who is looking to join us on a long term journey We’re hoping to find someone who is not just a solid and creative player, but connects well with the band. Someone who's authentic, friendly, playful, collaborative and can communicate well would fit in well. We’re scheduling auditions over the next couple weeks.
