A retirement community located in Arlington Heights is seeking an experienced Full-Time General Maintenance Technician to assist in preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry repairs in resident homes and Luther Village buildings and grounds. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm - Rotating on-call after hours, weekends and holidays are mandatory. Medical, dental, vision & 401K available Eligible for $500 bonus after 6 months of satisfactory performance. Requirements: • Candidate must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent. • Ability to communicate and teamwork is essential. Must have a current Illinois driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., bend, stoop, climb and reach is required. • Background check and MVR check are required.
