Looking for keys, rhythm guitar, or multi-instrumentalist

Description
We are currently a four piece group with fairly high-level skills looking for a fifth member with similar skillset to complement what we have, which is lead vocals, guitar (1), bass and drums. Here's our deal: All of us have busy lives. Three of us are retired and working with various other bands, but this is a main project for us and a labor of love. Most of us have played together for several years. The skill level is advanced. We need someone who can seamlessly support this with rhythmic skills as either guitarist or keyboard and is willing to learn iconic parts in songs if they are needed. We play mostly covers, with a few originals. Everyone in this band has a good ear for harmony, and we have tight three-part harmonies. Our covers are not the usual fare. We tackle some interesting stuff that other bands won't touch, but it all has strong audience appeal. We recognize that the days of playing for a living are long gone. Your motivation for being a part of what we do will be the chance to fully participate in musical fun with excellent players in a band that is willing to tackle more challenging material that is fun to play for people who are willing to work on it. If you're going to audition and then say you need $x per show after we decide we like you, this probably isn't for you. None of us needs the gig pay; we're doing this because we like the challenge of playing this music well; it's in our souls. No ego trips here, just good musicians who have fun making music. Our practice habits are to learn material independently and come to rehearsal prepared. If you want to spend rehearsal time learning new stuff, this isn't the band for you. If you need to rehearse weekly, we're also not for you. We currently rehearse every other week, on Thursdays. Most of us rehearse with other bands so time is tight. We may move to weekly rehearsals when a show is a month away. We work hard and focus intently when imminent gigs are on the books. When they are not, we may play a little more loosely with our rehearsal time. If you have a good memory for popular music, love improvising well-known songs, and don't mind that we may go off on a tangent now and then, you'll have a lot of fun with us. This is one of the ways we grow our song list. This is a reconstituted version of a previous band that played around Sacramento pre-Covid and we do have some decent gig connections for some of the more high-profile venues. Lots of bands will say they do, but we actually do. Our goal is to bring a quality show to local venues a few times a month. Quality over quantity. You're a good candidate if you don't mind a challenge, if you like learning new material accurately at home, are willing to learn the iconic riffs that define a song, and want to have fun with this. Other than the iconic riff stuff, we don't care what you play as long as you can play the changes correctly and it supports the song. We believe that the best players support each other by being good at what they do, and shouldn't need a lot of hand-holding. You also need to be fully-vaccinated. We don't care about your political leanings but would rather not hear about them. If political outrage is your passion, you're not going to fit in with us. Our age range is late 40's to mid 60's. We don't care about your age but you will need to be interested in music from the 60's through 90's in order to really vibe with what we do. We have a show coming up soon and will be looking to start considering additional players once that's over with. If you're interested, shoot me an e-mail with links to some of the things you've done, and I can send you links as well. Live performance links preferred, but I'll listen to anything. Links required for consideration. If you don't have links, you can use your phone to make a video. I just want to hear you play. Doesn't have to be fancy. This is a really fun opportunity for the right person.
