Fenton based manufacturer is hiring for 2nd shift production. Located in the Industrial Park, near I-270 and I-44
Wrap-Ups is a commercial trade bindery, producing “high end” products for the commercial print industry. We are seeking individuals that have the desire to advance, learn, and train to become “machine operators”. The hours consist of four 10 hour shifts Monday – Thursday, 3:30pm – 2:00am. On occasion, you may be asked to work a Friday shift, but the vast majority of the time this is a 4 day work week.
Pay for this category of a skilled tradesman is between $22.00 - $24.00 per hour. Training, along with “on-the-job experience” is necessary before this pay can be achieved. We are willing to invest the time in this training if you possess and can demonstrate that your qualifications meet the criteria outlined below.
Starting wage is compensatory on knowledge, skills, and experience.
Critical skills, knowledge and behaviors:
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Familiar with standard measurements
• Computer aptitude
• Effective verbal communication including speaking, writing, active listening and taking instructions
• Ability to retain information
• Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Overtime is available, and at times required
• Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operation issues
• Assumes responsibility for efficient and quality manufacturing of product
• Reliability and dependability a must, and tenure with prior jobs is required
Physical demands/Work Environment:
• Physical movements include bending, stooping, walking, and lifting
• Work is performed is a climate-controlled production environment
