Description
Spectrum Builders Inc, a commercial general contractor located in Columbus, is seeking a temporary jobsite superintendent to help manage a remote project in Marion. This project should last between 3-4 months and require 30+ hours per week.
What you will be doing:
- Daily supervision, coordination, and scheduling of construction activities to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Coordination with and reception of all material vendors and jobsite inspectors
- Review and be familiar with the scope of work required of all subcontractors and trades
- Assist project management in evaluating and projecting job costs and project calendar(s)
- Inspect and review projects daily to monitor compliance with legal requirements, such as building and safety codes or other regulations.
- Maintain a clean and presentable job site at all times

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Some construction experience preferred
- Former superintendent experience ideal
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, walking and standing for prolonged periods, and working in confined, loud, and dusty spaces.
