found a lost black cat

This cute fluffy black cat is meowing outside our door. She’s so clean and looks pregnant. We tried feeding her but she just purs and wants attention. She’s so friendly. My dad won’t let me bring her in. But how do I find out her owner? I will post photos tomorrow if she comes around again. I’m so sad
