I was at several of these BLM rallies. I would not go so far as to say that white supremists were the ones causing destruction. But I will tell you that the people vandalizing neighborhoods and looting stores were NOT people from the rallies. Independent groups of anarchists and thugs exploited the chaos of the rallies to loot and vandalize nearby neighborhoods. Thugs used the rallies as an excuse to be vandals. Is it possible that these people were racists trying to make BLM look bad? Yes, it is possible, but it does not seem likely to me. I do not believe in accusing people of things or assigning blame without evidence.
