Good communication skills, teamwork oriented, must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment. Work safely as an important part of a team. Operate construction equipment and power tools. Configure conduit routes. Dig trenches with trenching tools, backhoes and plows. Operate air-compressors and air operated tools. Aerial cable construction cross training available. Pull underground cable and fiber optics. Assist in the restoration of areas worked such as laying sod. Maintains a clean job site, picks up all tools and equipment and secures job sites each day to eliminate potential hazards. Handles materials and holds them. Loads and unloads trucks, hauls and hoists materials. Follows all safety protocols. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area and overnight travel may be expected.
