2nd Annual Hero WOD (workout of the day) in Honor of Deputy Eric Overall. Deputy Overall was killed on the line of Duty on Nov 23, 2017. Please join us in Oakland County Sheriff’s 2nd Tribute Workout, dedicated to Deputy Eric Overall. Please sign up and show your support! You can workout, cheer people on or just purchase a t-shirt or hoodie! Hoodies and tshirts will be handed out at event at registration. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office – Second Annual Never Quit - #664 Challenge The Oakland County Sheriff's Office Training Unit is hosting a tribute workout dedicated to Deputy Eric Overall on November 20, 2021 at 9am. The work out will take place at Brandon Fletcher Middle School (300 South St., Ortonville, MI). Team or individual workouts are encouraged. Join us in honoring our fallen brother. Deputy Sheriff Eric Overall was struck and killed by a suspect vehicle as he attempted to deploy stop sticks at approximately 12:30am on November 23, 2017. Deputy Overall had served with the Oakland County Sheriff's Office for 22 years. In November 2019, M-15 was renamed, between Clarkston, MI and Genesee County, to the Officer Eric Overall Memorial Highway. Eric leaves behind his wife, Sonya & son Ken. Eric was reunited with his late son Cameron, in Heaven . THE WOD (Workout) Start with a 664 Meter Run (664 represents his badge number) Then complete two complete rounds (2 represents his children) of the following: 11 Push-ups (11 represents the month of Death) 22 KB Swings (22 represents his years of service) 23 Wall Balls (23 represents his day of death) 50 Goblet Squats (50 represents his age) After completing two sets, finish with a 2017 Meter Run (2017 represents his year of death). Deputy Overall's life Motto was "Never Quit"**The workout Movements may be modified due to number of participants. NOTE: We are aware of the inherent risk COVID-19 presents, especially to high risk participants. Safety measures will be taken, including sanitizer on site and social distancing when possible.  Areas to conduct the WOD will be spaced out as much as possible.
