Overview Job: Dispensary Manager Location: Big Sky, MT Reports to: Director of Operations Who We Are Harmonia is a vertically integrated and state medical licensed cannabis company in Montana. General Summary The Dispensary Manager in Big Sky oversees the daily operation of the dispensary, handling the needs of all customers, and developing a professional team that is passionate about cannabis sales. This position will be an experienced leader who is able to help our developing company build out policies and practices. Priorities include the implementation policies, oversight and management of quality product inventory, and the supervision of dispensary staff. Essential Job Functions -Oversee and perform all functions associated with management and oversight of a retail medical cannabis dispensary. -Administer routine inspections to maintain the accurate inventory of all cannabis products. -Manage and supervise the activities of dispensary staff and make recommendations or decisions regarding discipline, termination, or advancement of employees. -Assist with training dispensary staff to ensure a consistent performance and knowledge base of company standard operating procedures, a comprehensive understanding of all cannabis and cannabis-infused or derived products being sold to patients, and best practices for dispensary personnel. -Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures. -Meet and / or exceed daily, monthly, and annual sales goals. -Assist with overseeing a schedule of all dispensary staff. -Communicate any patient incidents or complaints to the Director of Operations. -Protect patient rights by complying with HIPAA regulations and ensure each employee is maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of protected health information and financial information. -Assist in ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects, as well as best practices. -Strive for patient satisfaction in all respects and ensure a patient-friendly environment at the dispensary. -Maintain and continuously update standard operating procedures, as directed. -Monthly or weekly meetings with management or the Board; responsible for relaying all appropriate information back to the retail staff. -Manage and champion the retail point of sale system, state inventory tracking system, and rewards program software. -Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance and efficiency to meet and / or exceed company metrics. -Monitor inventory and perform weekly orders. -Manage and coordinate store operations, including, but not limited to: Daily activities -Maintenance and Cleaning -Compliance -Training and Education -Scheduling -Quality Assurance -Responsible for maintaining customer/vendor relationships, including handling issues, concerns, complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction. -Responsible for checking the mail and email consistently. -Other duties as assigned. Minimum Job Qualifications -Operate under the guidelines provided by company policies and procedures. -Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner. -Ability to communicate clearly whether verbally or in writing. -Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology. -Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulations. -Capacity to work autonomously to achieve daily directives and department goals. -Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed. -Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating or interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials. -Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols. -Must be at least 21 years of age. -Agent badge from the Montana DPHHS/DOR. Additional Functions -Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department or company as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor. -Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences. -Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately. -The ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and challenging environment. -Must be proficient in Windows based software and point of sale applications. -Must have excellent communications skills and attention to detail. -Ability to interpret, understand, and comply with complex statutes, ordinances, regulations, standards, and laws. -Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public. -Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail.
