Join Natural Dividends for Negative Net Hiking at Hubbard Park in Meriden CT. Join Natural Dividends for a hike at Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT Sunday, October 17th, 2021. The event will include hiking on Hubbard Park's many hiking trails and cleaning up the area in the process. Our Co-founder John went hiking in the area earlier this month and saw that the park suffering from littered trails and common spaces. Come enjoy a hike with scenic views and help leave our parks and natural spaces better in the process. What to bring? - Gloves and plastic bags or buckets for the trash pickup. We will have limited supplies on hand. - We recommend participants wear closed-toed shoes, sunblock, and a hat. - Water and reusable water bottle - Hiking boots or running shoes Where to meet - We will meet in the parking lot by the Playground and swimming pool one of the first main lots when you enter the park. We will and hike up to the tower from there. If you are arriving late you can park at the top parking lot next to castle Craig we will have a trash collection and staging event there. REMINDER: We adhere to any federal, state, or local COVID-19 guidelines. Do not attend the event if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, are showing COVID-19 symptoms, or you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
