Network with members of Colorado’s newest SME Student Chapter and local area professionals. Please join us for a combined meeting of the SME Colorado Section and the Colorado State University (CSU) SME Student Chapter on Thursday, October 21 from 5:00-7:30pm. Colorado State UniversityLory Student Center, Longs Peak Room 3021101 Center Ave Mall, Fort Collins, CO 80521Guest speaker will be Kelly Greaser, PhD, PG from Stantec, wo will be discussing "closure aspects of tailings facilities, including tailings characterization, hydrology, hydrogeology, covers." Food and networking will begin at 5:00pm and Kelly will begin presenting at 6:00pm. Parking in the lot adjacent to the Lory Student Center is free after 4pm. CSU requires mask wearing indoors for all individuals regardless of vaccination status.
