Our client, a hospital located in Jamaica Plain, MA is actively seeking facility janitors/porters for the following shift for long term temporary positions.
• Hours needed: 2pm – 10:30pm
• Special requirements: Proof of vaccine, hospital experience, terminal cleaning practices
Hourly Pay: $25.00/hour
Job Duties:
*Sweep and mop hallways, vacuum carpets, clean bathrooms and order cleaning supplies. Must know how to operate manual and power tools to do minor repairs such as fixing leaky faucets or changing bulbs; for major problems, inform management.
Job Qualifications:
*At least one year of hospital or nursing home porter/housekeeping experience
*Must have the physical strength to lift cleaning materials and heavy equipment, physical stamina for being on their feet all day and mechanical skills for handling routine repairs.
*Interpersonal skills are also necessary for interacting with building occupants and other cleaning staff.
