Join Dan Gagnon author of A Salem Witch: The Trial, Execution, and Exoneration of Rebecca Nurse, for the launch of this brand new biography of Rebecca Nurse. He will discuss Nurse's life, the importance of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, and how Nurse was later memorialized here by her descendants and others. At the end of the presentation, Gagnon will answer any questions from the audience. Copies of the new book will be for sale (by the Rebecca Nurse Homestead museum shop), and the author will be available to sign copies.
DAN GAGNON serves on the board of directors of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead . He is a high school history teacher on the North Shore, and he received a BA in history from Providence College and an MA in history from Boston College.
The Danvers Alarm List Company is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that owns and operates the Rebecca Nurse Homestead, a historic house museum in Danvers, MA. We are an entirely volunteer group of 18th century living history reenactors that portray the militia, minute and alarm companies of Danvers and surrounding communities, as they existed in the 1774-1775 timeframe.
