This class will be full of colorful fun as we learn calligraphy letterforms with brush markers and watercolors! This class will be full of colorful fun as we learn calligraphy letterforms with brush markers and watercolors! No experience is required and all materials will be provided. You will be able to take all your materials home with you to continue your practice! This class is also perfect for students with prior calligraphy experience, but would like to learn how to use a different medium for their lettering. Each student will receive: Exemplar and guidelines Practice paper 2 brush markers (one color, one black) 1 aqua brush 1 set of watercolorsWashi tapePencil Personalized name cardOther good things to note: No prior calligraphy or lettering experience needed and all materials are provided.While this workshop is designed for adults, teens ages 13+ are welcome to join!This workshop will take place in a private second floor studio space in historic Occoquan, Virginia.Workshop tickets are non-refundable once purchased and are not subject to our standard shop return policies.This workshop is taught by Jenny Paxton of Jenny Paxton Calligraphy. Jenny is a North Carolina native with a southern accent and Carolina blue blood living and working as a calligrapher in the Washington, DC area. She is a member of the Washington Calligraphers Guild and the International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting.
