Jewelry is one of the oldest forms of human adornment. Learning to make jewelry can be both fun and practical. With practice, you can make custom pieces for your favorite outfits or unique gifts for friends and family.
In this beginner jewelry making class, you’ll learn about different tools and their uses, how different components are used together, the basic techniques needed to make your own creations, and more. You will practice these techniques and get to make your own twisted ring and bead necklace and earring set.
All components used are made from hypoallergenic alloys that are lead and nickel free. For an additional $25, you can upgrade to sterling silver ear wires and freshwater pearls (necklace will remain metal alloy).
Other good things to note:
No prior experience is needed and all materials are provided.While this workshop is designed for adults, teens ages 12+ are welcome to join!This workshop will take place in a private second floor studio space in historic Occoquan, Virginia.Workshop tickets are non-refundable once purchased and are not subject to our standard shop return policies.
