Presentation on Responding to Emergent Medical Needs Around the World by Nancy Smith, with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief
ISM-Wichita invites you to join the October 14th event, which is hybrid either at WITS Office or on Zoom, and hear what Nancy would deliver on how to respond to emergent medical needs.
Nancy Smith serves with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief. Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization that provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. She began with the ministry in June of 2010 by deploying to Haiti where she lived the next three years serving in procurement and operational leadership positions. From there she accepted a position at the ministry’s headquarters in Boone, North Carolina leading the field offices and projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. After five years away, she returned to Wichita where she works from home supporting the ministries’ field offices around the world in areas of procurement and operations. Additionally, she supports the supply chain needs of the International Health Unit and its emergency field hospital deployments and field office medical programming.
Before joining Samaritan’s Purse, Nancy worked at Cessna Aircraft for 20 years in multiple procurement roles. She is a graduate of Southwestern College in Operations Management and holds a C.P.M Lifetime Certification.
