About the Speakers: Maria Avgitidis, better known as “Matchmaker Maria” is the CEO of Agape Match, a matchmaking service based in NYC. For over 13 years, Maria has successfully combined four generations of family matchmaking tradition with modern relationship psychology and search techniques to ensure her professional clientele are introduced to their ultimate match. She is also the co-Founder of the Matchmakers Alliance, a trade association that promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing for professional matchmakers and dating coaches. Maria and Agape Match have been featured in The New York Times, The Financial Times, Washington Post, CNN, and Vice. She has been a guest on popular podcasts, such as Girls Gotta Eat and U Up? and is the host of the weekly podcast Ask a Matchmaker. Lindsey Metselaar is a native New Yorker, CEO of Lindsey’s Lunchbox, and host of the popular dating podcast, We Met At Acme. After many dating experiences, Lindsey felt it was imperative to create this podcast and shed a light on this touchy subject. Since creating We Met At Acme, Lindsey has learned more about dating than she had ever hoped.
