After a year hiatus, the Fountain Square Pinball Classic returns on Saturday, November 13, for the 9th time to La Margarita & The PinVault. Taking 2020 off to practice at home, the Classic is back for 2021! Competitors will once again revel in the pinball machine filled dining room of La Margarita and the magical, intimate game-filled PinVault. The competition is limited to 64 total guests, with all guests required to show either proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test from the past 48 hours. The classic offers two qualifying sessions, a moring session with doors opening at 9 a.m. and official qualifying beginning at 10 a.m., as well as an afternoon session with qualifying starting at 1:30 p.m. sharp. The event is all ages. However, only ticket holding patrons will be able to attend this year's event. The format of the event is the same as previous years, with all participants qualifying across a number of machines to determine seeding, followed by the seperation of competitors into two brackets, the A Bracket Finals and the B Bracket Finals. The top 32 qualifiers will compete in the A Bracket Finals in La Margarita, while the remaining qualifiers will compete in the B Bracket Finals in the PinVault.
