"Braving the Storm: How Animals Prepare for Winter"
Animals have many adaptations that help them survive the harsh winter. On this hike we’ll discuss how they prepare for the coldest months, focusing mainly on the mammals living in our local forests. We'll finish with a cozy campfire around our stone firecircle with rustic log seating.
Outdoor program; please dress accordinglyMasks are optional outdoors, but are required when using the indoor restrooms.All ages welcome - from children to seniors! Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or you may drive in through the gate and park near the main brick building.Non-refundable; in case of inclement weather the program will be rescheduled.
