8 days of focused prayer and worship together leading up to the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church! 8 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCHOCTOBER 31ST - NOVEMBER 7THOur heart is to gather the body of Christ locally and citywide for a time of focused prayer and worship together in the 8 days leading up to the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church on November 7th! PURPOSE• Pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters • Bring awareness to the body of Christ locally that there are people suffering and even dying for their faith in Jesus • Draw strength, encouragement, and eternal perspective from the incredible stories of faith and courage coming from the persecuted church. What are we doing with our freedoms here in the Church of America!? BEATITUDES AS PRAYER/MEDITATION GUIDE We will focus on one Beatitude each day, leading up to the final blessing for those who are persecuted. By focusing on the Beatitudes, we will also be seeking to reorient our hearts to the culture of the kingdom! BURN24 & Interactive Art Gallery at Torchhouse Sunday, November 7th • 6PM International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church at Agape Christian Church (1825 Jessica Dr, Terre Haute, IN) BURN24 & ART DISPLAYAn interactive art gallery will be on display at torchhouse during the BURN24 (24 hours of live worship and prayer), Friday, Nov 5th, 7PM - Saturday, Nov 6th, 7PM EST. This gallery will feature original pieces from local artists and will all be themed around praying for the persecuted church, while reflecting on the Beatitudes and how we as a Church can draw encouragement and perspective by reflecting on how the Lord moving in persecuted nations.
