Originally from the east coast, having spent his formative years in Florida, New York & Washington D.C.. visual artist Donald Ramsey aka donisdope, now based in Sacramento, CA, has taken his unique perspective and infused it into stunning, culturally driven pieces that resonate with pop culture connoisseurs across the globe. His client list includes legendary filmmaker Spike Lee, hip-hop icon Fabolous, WNBA champion Natasha Cloud and NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen to name a few. Combining traditional graphic design with illustration and collage techniques, donisdope has amassed an impressive collection of digital art and strives to make thought-provoking work while pushing the envelope and celebrating the culture. This event is produced by the Education Programming Committee. Our Education Program is designed to improve awareness and access to a field of design for local youth. Beyond that, we aim to encourage students to further their education in design, and to improve design education overall. We bring creatives together for education, inspiration and connections. We believe a healthy creative community has the power to elevate our region’s quality of life and economic prosperity.
