The number of people experiencing hope/emotional/mental health crisis is on the rise. Now is the time to discover and build Bridges of Hope. Hope is real. Hope does exist. What is Hope, exactly? Come discover a new perspective on Hope not taught in any college courses or books. No, this type of Hope is taught from experience. The Bridges of Hope workshop draws from my own experiences as a mental health survivor and a suicide attempt survivor with a determination to live. The workshop details why the Hopeless to Hope project began. The workshop will also cover how the Bridges of Hope Road Map, can be a tool, to assist people in a variety of professions, especially First Responders in their encounters with people experiencing emotionally challenging times or times of hopelessness. All attendees will receive 1 copy of the Bridges of Hope Road Map (money value $5). The Road Map is visual tool, developed by Wendee Monson (Presenter) which many people have found useful for figuring out where they are on a scale of hopelessness to where the want to be on a scale of hopefullness. The Road Map has helped people gain a new perspective on Hope. The Road Map is a tool that some local law enforcement officers use to help slow down and find out what is really going on when dealing with a person experiencing a mental or emotional crisis. This workshop is still in Beta testing and therefore the cost is a suggested donation. The workshop is useful for people who want to discover, build and maintain bridges of hope with themselves, friends, family, co-workers and others. Because of the Beta testing, the workshop is free. A Donation of $25 is suggested and can be paid at the workshop. Please note that the workshop on October 7 will be directed more towards First Responders. Attendance priority will go to First Responders on this day.
