Maya Dunietz chats with Tyler Green for a special live taping of Modern Art Notes followed by a live experimental music performance! In-person reservations are required. This event will take place indoors with limited capacity. The podcast + performance will also stream live at twitch.tv/bemiscenter. Twitch account not required. Maya Dunietz is an artist and musician performing internationally for the past 30 years. She works in the thin lines between music, visual art, performance, technological research, and philosophy. Her compositions are commissioned by renowned performers and ensembles around the world, such as Saar Berger (Ensemble Modern), Meitar Ensemble, Bat Kol Choir, Hyperion Ensemble and many more. Her works have been shown in institutions such as Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, Arnolfini Gallery, Reykjavik Arts Festival. mayadunietz.com The Modern Art Notes Podcast, hosted and produced by Tyler Green, is a weekly, roughly hour-long interview program featuring artists, historians, authors, curators and conservators. While the program is typically studio-based, it has taped live-audience episodes at nearly a dozen American art museums, such as the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the Nasher Sculpture Center.
