Description
Whether married a long time, a short time, or just considering marriage, wouldn't it be of help to know what the marriage Designer thought? When exploring marriage, the discussion often turns to the daily "mechanics" of the relationship. Everything from communication to conflict resolution, from finances to "love languages." Clearly such things matter, but they are not the foundation for a great marriage. What is God's intention, His design, in creating marriage? What if marriage is about something much bigger, much more glorious and God-honoring, than finding someone who you can live with who will meet your needs? This two-evening intensive (Tuesday evening, November 9 and 16, beginning at 6:30 pm) will explore the Biblical picture for a God-designed marriage. Whether you've been married for a long time, considering entering into marriage, or have just begun the journey, clarity about God's design for the foundation for marriage is critical. Even with great tools for building the relationship, if the foundation for the marriage is not secure building well will be an ever-increasign challenge. The class is being hosted by Freedom Church in Mauldin. Reigstration is free, but please register for this event so we can prepare accordingly. (You don't need to bring a printed ticket with you, but please make sure to bring your Bible!) Every Christian needs opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus and to deepen his or her understanding of Scripture (2 Peter 3:18). The River is a cooperative ministry venture focused on empowering and encouraging communities of faith through Biblical training, curricula, and mentorship. Through a growing understanding of Scripture, believers will discover a richness of Biblical truth that will supplement their journey in faith, enhance their joy in Jesus, and encourage them in ministry in their respective churches. More information about The River can be found at www.theriverupstate.org and at facebook.com/TheRiverUpstate.
