Description

Calling all tree huggers, walkers, joggers, and the curious. The Fall River Street Tree Planting Program is pleased to announced a Tree Stewardship Course will take place in Fall River, MA. A tree stewardship course provides information about how trees grow, how to plant and care for trees in your yard or on your block, types of trees that grow best in an urban environment and why trees are important. Trees provide many benefits, and how can we best take advantage of those benefits! On October 7, 14, 21 and 28 - all Thursdays - from 12-3 pm John Capanani, a RI tree expert, will be exploring the world of trees at Blessed Trinity Church Hall for all those who register at www.frstpp.org. The cost is $35 for materials. The FRSTPP welcome all who are curious, like to garden, like walking and exploring nature and care about our City trees. A tree stewardship certificate and a pin will be awarded at the completion of the course. Mask wearing and vaccination is a requirement. Parking is at the rear of the Church on 1340 Plymouth Street. Safety protocols will be in place.
