Adoptive & Guardianship Parents, come learn and practice ways to take care of yourself-
People in caregiving positions (parents, for example), often find it easier to help others take care of their health more than taking care of themselves. Self-care is necessary for parents to maintain good mental health. This is a great opportunity for adoptive and guardianship parents to recharge, and learn a few ideas for taking care of yourself. Our time will start with a brief art activity, and discussion of stress and taking care of ourselves. There will be an all levels relaxing yoga flow taught by Jamie Pedretti to help get in touch with your body. We will finish up with nourishing snacks.
You can bring your own yoga mat or there will be mats available.
