Huddle up, Cougs! The Cougs are going to Arizona for The PreGame at ASU on October 30, 2021. Huddle up, Cougs! The PreGame is heading to sunny and warm Arizona!  Join us on Saturday, October 30, 2021, outside Desert Financial Arena on the ASU campus for the offical Cougar fan rally before WSU takes on the Arizona State Sun Devils. This epic, three-hour Coug fan experience will start four hours before kick-off. Many delicious food and beverage options will be available for purchase. President Kirk Schulz and First Lady Noel Schulz, Athletic Director Pat Chun, and WSUAA Executive Director Tim Pavish will be in attendance. Enjoy Cougar camaraderie, lively music from DJ Maki, photo-ops with Butch, and Cougar gear from The Bookie! The PreGame is a short five-minute walk from Sun Devil Stadium. The cover charge is $10 for WSU Alumni Association or Cougar Athletic Fund members, and $15 for non-members. For those 12 and under, entrance is FREE. This will allow you to purchase the tickets at the member discounted price (limit - four discounted tickets per WSUAA or CAF member). Should this not work, please contact the WSUAA Office, and we will refund the difference.     Frequently Asked Questions What does the cover charge include? The fee covers the venue rental, bartenders, bussers, cooks & servers, DJ, security personnel, restroom rentals, event supplies, decorations, trash collection, etc. Where should I park? Parking structures are located on campus and range in pricing. South Packard Parking Structure and Stadium Structure are located directly across from the Desert Financial Arena. How do I get from The PreGame to Sun Devil Stadium? The PreGame events adhere to local and state guidelines. ASU strongly recommends that all fans wear face covering while attending events. ASU Athletics’ facilities uses procedures, schedules, and products in adherence with the CDC guidelines. A deep cleaning of all facilities is completed before and after each event. For your safety and the safety of others around you, if you are feeling ill or have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and do not attend The PreGame. Is this a family-friendly event? Yes, families are welcome! What types of beverages will be available? A variety of beverages, both alcoholic (distilled spirits, wine, and beer) and non-alcoholic. Alcoholic drinks are available to those 21 years and older with a valid ID.  Do I need cash at the event? We recommend bringing cash to this event.   May I purchase food at the event? Yes, you can purchase food a la carte from several local food trucks. Will there be Cougar gear available for purchase at the event? Yes, The Bookie will be at The PreGame selling plenty of Coug Gear. The Bookie will take cash or card.  Cash will get you faster service. Will Butch be at The PreGame? Yes, you will have the opportunity to mingle, take a photo, and high-five with Butch. Does Sun Devil Stadium have a clear-bag policy? Yes. For more information on their policy, click here. For the safety and security of all guests to Sun Devil Stadium, re-entry is NOT permitted at Sun Devil Stadium. Once a ticket is scanned at the gates, guests may no longer exit and re-enter Sun Devil Stadium. I am unable to attend. What should I do?
