Description

Parents are invited to brainstorm on how schools and communities can better support families in their child's educational success. Keystone Oaks School District parents and caregivers are invited to join us for a special evening! Learn about the latest research findings on what parents believe is the purpose behind their child's K-12 education and how parent support can influence that journey. Then, let's brainstorm together on how schools and communities can better support parents in their child's educational success. We want to hear your ideas and learn from you! All attendees will receive a free copy of the book "When You Wonder, You're Learning." === This event is part of the "Great Learning Conversations" series. The Kidsburgh team is excited to be co-hosting these public conversations with eleven school districts in the greater Pittsburgh area. We want to hear from parents and caregivers on what they feel is the purpose of a child’s K-12 journey. And we’ll ask: How can schools and communities best partner with families? We’ll also share survey and research highlights from The Brookings Institution and HundrED, as well as school-parent engagement ideas from local parents identified through IDEO’s human-centered design process.
