The annual Memphis Greek Festival is back! We have had to scale back a little bit, but we can still take you to Greece with our food & music The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church is under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, and is part of the Metropolis of Detroit. The Parish was established in 1907, with the first services being held in downtown Memphis. The parish moved to their current location at 573 N Highland in 1955. While many of the parishioners are Greek or of Greek descent (the Greek Festival is held there every May), the Annunciation has many ethnicities represented, and has been blessed with many who have come to Orthodoxy from other faith traditions. The services are celebrated predominately in English.
