Full Job Description We are a high precision, high volume machine shop. We are currently looking to add a few more CNC operators to meet the demands of our customers. We are hoping to hire a few operators for our first shift and night shift.  Compensation includes wages plus a well-funded health plan, dental, and a profit sharing plan. We are a precision manufacturer of Medical, Electronic, and Instrument Components. We offer a clean, modernized facility with newer equipment. For over 30 years, the company has taken components from pre-production prototyping through high volume production with quantities in the hundreds of thousands. High Tech Turning has received the "Honors Program" award and has been rated as one of the 10 Top Shops in the US by Modern Machine Shop Magazine. Job responsibilities: Operate CNC Milling Machines or CNC Swiss Turning Centers.o Perform high quality work in an efficient and timely manner.o Deburr Parts as needed.o Clean parts as needed.o Communicate with the Production Manager regarding any issues so they can be resolved as quickly as possible. Inspection and record Keepingo Inspect your work at regular intervalso Measure parts against drawings with appropriate tools.o Screen parts as required.o Keep accurate manual and computer records as requiredo Ensure all tools are properly maintained and calibrated Cultureo Maintain a spirit of respect for your fellow employees.o Work to continuously improve your skills and performance.o Solicit training from more senior employees. Safety and Maintenanceo Operate all machinery in a safe manner.o Always wear appropriate protective equipment.o Maintain CNC machine as directed.o Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.o Occasionally help move heavy items and material.
