MERIDEN, CT — A second man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting at a gas station last year, according to police. Khlalil Kelly, 23, was charged with criminal possession of a pistol, carrying a pistol without a permit, and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He was held on $500,000 bond. Police responded Oct. 3, 2020, to a shots-fired call at the Citgo station at 54 S. Broad St. Kelly and another man, Michael Brown, had been struck by gunfire. Brown later died due to his injuries.
