AUSTIN, TX — One of the three developers behind the "Call of Duty" franchise will open a new Austin office in preparation for CoD 2022. Infinity Ward announced Thursday it plans to expand its development team by adding a base in Austin. The office will be the first Texas location. Officials said they are hiring for all positions online. Activision founded Infinity Ward in 2002, with the first "Call of Duty" title being released in 2003.
