Today's top storyThe first person in the country to be charged with defrauding the federal Paycheck Protection Program will serve more than four years in prison. David Adler Staveley, who conspired with a Rhode Island man to fraudulently apply for coronavirus relief funds, faked suicide before his arrest.
Today, he was sentenced to serve 56 months in federal prison.
