FREE OTOCINCLUS CATFISH MUST BE REHOMED TONIGHT URGENT LIFE OR DEATH

Description

I am looking for someone with moderate or at the least basic freshwater fish experience to rehome my otocinclus catfish. He was apart of the community in one of my 20 gallon tanks. Unfortunately my housemate doesn’t watch their kids nearly as well as I watch my fish and their child dumped soap in his tank. By the time I got home all the other fish and plant life was dead. I honestly am shocked he survived but grateful. I moved him to the only spare tank I had which was a dinky 2 gallon bowl I use for emergency transfers. I can’t move him to any of my other tanks as they aren’t a match (either salt water, too small, or will be too over crowded, or too many predatory fish) he is refusing to eat the algae wafers I put in the bowl for him and I am worried he will not survive if not rehomed to a planted tank within the next day or so. I am begging someone to please take him. I feel responsible for the well-being of all my pets no matter the size and I feel absolutely horrendous about letting this happen to him. I am already distraught over the other fish in the tank including his entire school dying. I will provide you with algae wafers and the bowl he’s in with the little dinky treasure chest decor in it as well. I don’t care what time of day or night, please feel free to text or email. I will be up to trade him off. As long as you have a 10 gallon or larger planted tank with plenty of natural algae for him, he will be happy. It’s best if he is rehomed somewhere with other otocinclus but if you’re looking to start your school with him I can settle for that as long as he gets the other pre described requirements. Otocinclus are honestly the best algae eating cat fish for 10-20 gallon tanks in my opinion and with a small school of 3-5 you rarely need to clean your tank if ever!! He’s a great lil lawn mower!
