POTTSTOWN, PA — Montgomery County Board of Commissioners Chair Val Arkoosh will be in Pottstown on Friday to talk about child care challenges.
Arkoosh, who is a physician, will tour the YWCA Tri-County Area Early Education Center and convene a roundtable discussion on the challenges facing the child care and early education industry. The conversation will include Stacey Woodland, CEO of YWCA Tri-County Area, Kathleen Seely, YWCA Senior Early Education Director, parents, teachers, and stakeholders.
The event begins at 10 a.m. on Friday at the YWCA Tri-County Area Early Education Center, 315 King St. in Pottstown.
YWCA Tri-County Area, a state-licensed STARS 4 Early Education Center, has long provided quality, affordable early education to communities in Montgomery County.
The ongoing pandemic and workforce shortages have impacted early learning centers, working families, and school-age readiness in communities throughout the state.
