Labor Workers – Hiring Immediately Come to the SC State Fair October 13 - 24, 2021! Venue Smart is now hiring dedicated and hardworking labor workers. Workers are a crucial part of our team and important to the overall success of our business. There are many reasons to work at SC State Fair – good food, a fun atmosphere and lots of fun activities. But more importantly, Fair employees can make long-lasting memories. This is a part-time position for days, evenings and weekends. Pay is $9.00-$10.00 per hour (depending on experience), paid bi-weekly Workdays: Wednesday, 10/13/21 thru Sunday, 10/24/21 Shift hours: 11:00 AM – Midnight Duties include but not limited to: • Work under the direction of the Crew Manager and/or Leader(s) • Receptacle and liner handling • Collection of all trash/garbage receptacles around the Fair grounds • Picking up trash, keep facility grounds clean at all times • Able to work required hours per assignment • Cleaning and stocking of Restrooms • Sweeping grounds Qualifications & Requirements • Positive attitude • Ability to follow instructions • Able to work well independently or in a group • Problem solving skills • Physically able to do manual labor • Able to lift up to 25 lbs. • Reliable transportation is preferred
