Worth & Company's Fall Charity Golf Outing Hits a Hole in One

Worth & Company, Inc. announced that its fall charity golf outing, benefiting Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, raised $100,000. The golf outing was held at the Lederach Golf Club in Harleysville and the proceeds will be split evenly between the two charities. There were 148 golfers registered and over 100 sponsors and donors who contributed to the outing. Matt Weintraub, Bucks County District Attorney, represented The Bucks County Heroes Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to the children of Bucks County police officers, firefighters, correctional officers and EMTs killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide those with cystic fibrosis the opportunity to lead long, fulfilling lives. Worth & Company has held a charity golf tournament in each of the past six years, raising funds for St. Luke's Hospital, Special Olympics of Bucks County, Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, Bucks County SPCA and Operation Homefront, an organization that helps military families with financial assistance, transitional housing and caregiver support.
