Event Day Staff Needed for Farm-to-Table Dinner

Outstanding in the Field (www.outstandinginthefield.com) is currently hiring experienced hospitality staff for an event in Smyrna, TN on Sunday, October 10th. We are hiring servers, back servers and dishwashers. We are looking for experienced servers who can take direction well. ABOUT US Outstanding in the Field is a roving culinary adventure - literally a restaurant without walls. Since 1999 we have set a long, fine-dining table at farms, vineyards, city streets, docks, piers and on beaches across the country. Outstanding in the Field events feature a five course, family-style dinner, paired with wine at our long table set in a scenic spot. Diners are joined at the table by the farmer, food producers, a winemaker and other local artisans associated with the meal. THE JOB 3 hour event set-up, dinner service, then 2 hour break down. Staff members must be able to lift 50 lbs. Exposure to the elements and walking on uneven surfaces should be expected. The job requires all staff to work outside and be on your feet for several hours in a row. Applicants should have event/restaurant experience. Those who work on farms are also encouraged to apply. This job requires following direction well from the front of house manager of the event. Staff members will be working outdoors for the entirety of the event. Event Day Run of Show: 9am-12:30pm: Event set-up 12:30pm-1:30pm: Lunch Break 1:30pm-2:30pm - Menu and wine meeting 3:00pm-8:00pm: Event 8:00pm-9:30pm Event Breakdown There is plenty of manual labor involved in set-up and break-down of events; please consider this before applying.
