FOUND Beautiful black & white, long-haird cat. May be a Maine Coon. Very friendly, calm and sweet. Don't know if it is male or female, or whether neutered. Started hanging around our house near Helman School on Saturday night. We weren't going to feed it but it kept trying to get our food when we were eating on our patio. We finally decided we couldn't watch the cat go hungry and although it is very fluffy, it's skeleton can easily be felt and both backbone and ribs don't have little padding. So we started feeding in on Sunday night. Please contact me if this is your cat or if you're interested in adopting it. I've posted on Nextdoor & Ashland Peeps facebook page, and put flyers up around my neighborhood, hoping to find the owner, but have heard nothing. I can't adopt the cat because of allergies. I'd prefer not to take it to the Humane Society, but will have to if someone does not claim it. Thanks.
