Description
TUCSON, AZ — The man suspected of engaging in a shootout with law enforcement on an Amtrak train Monday was Darrion Taylor, according to the Pima County Medical Examiner.
Taylor, who was killed in the shootout, was 26 years old.
Taylor's cause of death was gunshot wounds to the trunk and extremities, according to Pima County Medical Examiner Dr. Gregory Hess, who conducted a post-mortem examination of Taylor on Monday.
A postmortem exam report with more detailed information should be released by mid-to-late November, Hess said in a news release.
Agents say they found bulk marijuana in a bag on an Amtrak train stopped in Tucson on Monday right before Taylor is suspected of opening fire, killing Drug Enforcement Administration agent Michael Garbo. Another DEA agent and a Tucson Police officer were injured in the shooting.
