OCEANSIDE, NY — There was a serious car accident this morning in Oceanside as a person walking was struck by a Jeep just after 6 a.m., Nassau police said. The 35-year-old female driver remained at the location, as police investigate the incident. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is listed in critical condition, detectives said.
