Press release from the Estuarium at Dauphin Island Sea Lab: This program is provided via collaboration between DISL, NOAA Ocean Exploration, and the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography's Inner Space Center, with support from the Ocean Exploration Cooperative Institute and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation. October 07, 2021 An essential component of the professional development mini-series is to improve ocean science literacy and increase understanding of the need for ocean exploration. The 2021 Spring Series focused on hydrothermal vents.
