“put your people skills to work” We are looking for a competent Production Assistant (PA) to support all aspects of event production during the holiday season. You will act as an important member of the team and will perform various crucial tasks, from organizing staging equipment to reviewing contracts, announcements and crowd control. If you enjoy ways to standout and opportunities for advancement in a production environment, this is a good place to start. High energy and commitment are essential. If you are an individual who can multi-task, solve problems and do things proactively, you’ll quickly become invaluable. The goal is to ensure every production is executed, smoothly, and problem-free. Responsibilities * Facilitate deliveries and help prepare sets and event sites with lights, props, equipment etc. * Perform quality checks, inspections, and equipment tests at the start of each production. * Assist costume designers, directors, and other crew members * Communicate with vendors, management personnel, customers, and technical experts as necessary. * Print and distribute daily paperwork (e.g. schedules) * Escort talent around the production area and coordinate promotional action. * Conduct crowd control by putting up signs, directing pedestrians away from talent, unauthorized areas, etc. * Act as a runner distributing messages or items within crew, client and talent reps. * Perform administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.) * Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. * Undertake errands as assigned. Requirements * Computer literacy. * Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability. * Resourcefulness and problem-solving. * A team player with great communication skills. * Physical strength and stamina, able to lift 80lbs on a regular basis. * Flexible schedule. * Must be available for nights and weekends. * Able to travel out of state. * Own transportation, and smart phone. * A valid driver’s license
