Description

Title:Jack Russell/Boston Terrier mix It is with a heavy heart that I've decided to rehome my little guy. This is Charlie aka Puppy, he will be 8 months old late this month and I've had him since he was 3 months. I got Puppy to be a companion to my American Bulldog mix, however, I did not realize that Puppy was going to be alpha, which has made my American Bulldog, uncomfortable in his own home. Puppy is neutered, utd on all shots and chipped, which I haven't even filled out yet. He is house trained in the sense that he opens the back door by himself to the fenced in back yard, he still cannot get through the night so he does get crated at night, he does not have accidents in his crate. He is a great Puppy, although he wants to be center of attention and he cannot be since I have another dog and a toddler, if my big dog and child want to be rubbed or held, Puppy bullies his way in front of them, with his whole 16 lbs! It isn't fair to them or him. Puppy really should be a one and only dog, he gets along with other dogs great but again he wants to be King, typical Jack Russell mentality. I'm in no rush to get rid of him so I will be selective, I'm more concerned that he finds his forever home, preferably with someone that has training with the Jack Russell breed. Puppy is a lap dog, he prefer to be as close to someone as he can and he is incredibly smart. He enjoys short walks, not too long as you will end up carrying him home. I cannot stress enough, I'm looking for the perfect fit for him so please don't take offense if I don't choose you. There is a rehoming fee, I put a lot of money into this guy and would like to get some of it back and to also ensure he is going to someone that is devoted to him. There is a rehoming fee, that doesn't even cover his vet care for his shots, neutering and chip that I have paid out, by the way, he is 100% healthy according to his vet. If interested, please let me know and we can do a meet and greet, preferably at your house, we'll to ensure it's a good environment for him!
