Goal of this position Delivery driver is responsible for: all in-house distribution and sales for the Historic Brewing Co & Grand Canyon Wine Co, beer and wine deliveries. Picks up and delivers orders with accuracy and in a timely fashion, according to the route established. Packaging & Cellaring duties: Assists Packaging Line Operator and Brewers on canning days, helps maintain a safe and efficient production facility, cleans kegs and tanks, preps grain, and general cleaning of the facility. This position directly reports to the Head Brewer Delivery/Sales Responsibilities Is the contact for the brewery and its product availability with all our in- house locations in Flagstaff and Williams Responsible for the delivery and account maintenance of all in house self-distribution accounts Updates walk-in cooler beer inventory weekly prior to receiving orders Is responsible to receive the beer orders, prepare the orders correctly, and load them into the van to be delivered at the time assigned. Picks up mail and invoices twice weekly from each location's invoice box and delivers it to the main office in Williams. Collects and disburses paperwork or items from the main office and delivers them back to the locations as needed. Picks up company boxes, packages and other items at the main office and delivers them to the correct location. Delivers paychecks to Barrel House Flagstaff restaurant on paydays twice a month. Responsible for line cleaning and maintaining van and jockey boxes at all locations Responsible for all aspects of the company vehicle including general maintenance, vehicle upkeep, and cleaning. Administrative Responsibilities Creates invoices in QuickBooks and emails copies to managers Works with the VP of Finance in regard to adding new products along with pricing and invoicing Experience and Education License to Drive and clean driving record Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards and governmental regulatory requirements Strong overall understanding of safety procedures, regulations and requirements Proficient verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail. Positive attitude with an ongoing sense of urgency Excellent time management skills Proven ability to work well with others Demonstrated mechanical aptitude A flexible schedule with the ability to work a few nights and weekends The use of a phone, Mac/PC, printer and Point of Sales system are required Our Expectations We as a company pride ourselves on treating everyone with respect. Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing setting and requires mobility inside and outside of the brewery. Movement is spent in manufacturing areas while performing various tasks. Work with heavy brewery equipment with high temperatures and moving parts. Physical Demands The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires the ability to frequently lift 60 lbs. and occasionally up to 170 lbs. The ability to work near moving parts and machinery. This position requires the ability to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently. Requires at times high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, bend, squat, crawl, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis. Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours). Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus and the ability to see color; either with or without accommodation. The ability to work in loud, wet, cold, hot, indoor and outdoor environments frequently. Must be able to drive vehicles with either a manual and/or automatic transmission. Must be able to use a ladder, i.e., work at heights of 10+’ above grade. Must be able to operate a fork truck, electric hand truck, and mechanized lifts. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability with schedule and tasks, often-working workdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts normally include as early as 6am and as late as 12am.
