Full Time Warehouse Associate Position Available in Fargo, ND. The Tessman Company is a wholesale distributor of Landscape, Greenhouse, Turf and Golf Course products. Applicants must be able to lift 50lbs, Full Benefits Available. Vision • To be the best customer service distributor in the Upper Midwest • To become the “First Call” for all of our customers Warehouse Operations • Shipping and receiving product, loading, unloading and all other warehouse tasks. • Provide our customers with prompt and friendly service. • Implement quality control processes to ensure shipping and receiving accuracy. • Provide a safe and organized work environment that is compliant with all safety procedures. Ensure that we abide by all OSHA regulations. • Order and maintain an inventory of necessary warehouse supplies. • Communicate with freight carriers to ship orders each day. Inventory Control • Responsible for annual inventory counts and periodic cycle counts. • Maintain our Bin Location system with a high level of accuracy. • Follow up on shortage and damage claims with trucking companies. • Minimize damaged inventory and miss-shipments. Isolate and repair/repackage damaged products as soon as possible. • Organize inventory based on seasonality and product movement.
